Lost Connections [Gaara x Reader] Chapter 3
Anxiety pulsed throughout [y/n]’s body as the small wooden boat pulled into the dock. Her heart pounded in her chest, not once skipping a single beat, for its plan seemed to be to eventually burst out of her. From her place on top of the wooden walkway, she could easily make out the faces of her three old companions. Her breaths were sharp and quick, gradually slowing as she let herself relax under the not-so-shady tree. With those tufts of white cotton floating way above in the sky, it was hard for something to cast a shadow, but the slightly cool air made up for it and kept away the risk of overheating.
The area around the teen had several blades of all sorts scattered around on the ground, deep gashes deco

Lost Connections [Gaara x Reader] Prologue
The wailing of a newborn baby could be heard outside the hospital room as a man sat in an uncomfortable metal chair, anxiously waiting to meet his child. After a several minutes that felt like hours, the door to the room slowly opened, causing the man to quickly turn around to face whomever it was that was in the doorway. A lady with warm caramel eyes looked down at him, sending a kind smile and a nod, indicating that it was alright to enter. He eagerly stood up and rushed into the room to see his wife holding a wad of cloths against her chest while tears streamed down her face.
The man would have thought the worst had

Passage (Gaara Love Story) Chapter 1
I moved the small piece of ice from the right side of my mouth to the left, completely focused on the words printed in the book I held before me. My eyes trailed from left to right across the paper, reading intently as the story’s plot thickened. My toes curled in due to the tense mood it held within the writing. My mind twisted and turned, trying to wrap itself around what was going to happen next and how the poor boy was going to get himself out of the enormous calamity he was stuck in. My heart rate slightly picked up speed in anticipation as I struggled to keep myself from reading ahead.
“Gah!” I cried, droppin
